Interesting stuff Jon. So much to explore there. As a fellow shin splint sufferer, I guess you’ve already found out what you can do to actually strengthen your lower legs to avoid the problem in the first place? You mentioned recovery but not strengthening that’s why I thought I’d poke my nose in 🙈
Good question, Peter. Shin splints still flare up for me, but the reality is I need to really focus on my foundation: my feet. I've mixed in consistent recovery, like barefoot calf raises, side arch walks, and heel raises. Stuff like that. It's an ongoing process, but I'm trying.
