Amazing!! Thank you. A wonderful insight into our world. Everywhere I go I see what I call the zombies on the street walking or waiting for a bus staring at these stupid time wasting toys. Love this and thank you once again for the reminder.
Let’s take a walk. When we get too attached to the thing, let’s put it down. If more of us do this and rave about how restorative it is, who knows? We may even create a culture?!
I, like you, feel the clock. Too many deaths recently. Too much of a sense of my own time lapsing, while losing moments with those who might be leaving just a bit before I do.
I feel this so deeply. I remember the 'before times' and time seemed so much more expansive. Now I never have enough time. However despite trying to reduce my phone use I still often rack up 4.5 hours of my day on my phone. My mind often feels very fidgety and restless.
I know I do not want to choose to spend 4.5 hours glued to my phone. But so easily I end up doing exactly that.

The emptiness must not prevail.
